phuzaxeman
Not sure if this was posted but it's a nice aussie review of the latest Legacy 3.6r. Article gives props to the 3.6r power, ride and handling, luxury features, how quiet it is, and value. http://www.autocar.co.nz/car-reviews-app/2018-subaru-legacy-3-6rs-review-roadtest
Pilot1226
I appreciated the head to head versus the Outback. The utility offered by Outback, at the moment, has the edge for me.
meaux
Damn... I wish I hadn't read that... Now, how does one make an American R into an Aussie RS? 3 Driving Modes? Damn...

That is SI-Drive and it is not available on the US built cars anymore. Funny thing though, SI-Drive is available on the new Forester, go figure. SI-Drive has been available on the Forester XT for a while (turbo version). It was enhanced for the WRX CVT. Is SI-Drive also on the non-turbo models now? It makes a world of difference acceleration wise.

SI-Drive has been available on Subaru models sold outside the US for some time now. Even the lowly Impreza has SI-Drive. Typical the higher performance trims get a 3 mode (S, S# and I) while the standard ones get a 2 mode version (S & I). Now the new 2019 Forester does not offer the XT anymore. However the new Forester Sport the 3 mode SI-Drive while the other trims have a 2 mode.
CAT793
Read the Aussie title and own a Liberty 3.6R in OZ. Was surprised to see the 3.6RS reference. It’s a NZ article and they have a RS and we just have a R. Weird.
