roundthirteen
I thought I had a pretty good line on how to make 300whp with a 16g and have a DW65c pump to start gathering parts. Has anyone had any real issues with that pump? I'm making 255whp and 322wtq with the stock fueling and vf46. I was thinking the 16g, DW65c, and 650 or 725ish injectors. My main concern is if the pump is reliable. My car's not a sleeper it's a hibernator. http://pure-tuning.com
kzr750r1
Was just searching for what an upgrade from the DW65c would be. Your post shows up. Go bigger on the pump man. I'm on an auto so not looking to blow the ball joints off of it. Just need smooth heavy chooch.
utc_pyro
DW65C is fine for gas. It has a high failure rate on e85 though. AEM 50-1215 if you want E85. Replace the main fuel filter and put on a new OEM style strainer at the same time.
kzr750r1
Looks like with the numbers I'll wait till this unit craps out as I'm not looking for going E85 without a flex fuel option. Now you do hit on some good points about the filters though. Thanks for the information. I didn't change the main filter when doing the pump replacement, just the strainer. So now I'll go get a denso unit next week when this new cage lower shows up.
