biturbowagon
Not the first few gallons. Just a few tenths of a gallon at most. what if you put in 93 but it's from one of those common nozzles that pumps 87, 89, 91 and 93? Doesn't that mean that the first few gallons could be pot-luck? biturbowagon
True, but then why bother owning a turbo? Just get a 2.5i and stick to regular gas. You can get by with lower than 91 in a pinch, but the car runs best with 91. I don't believe that the car will run any better with higher than 91, unless you've made engine mods that make use of higher octane. Seriously, is this that bad for the car? The dealer (yeah, I know they aren't the brightest) said midgrade is fine, the car just cuts back the timings and you lose a little performance. Robbie d
You guys think that $2.80 is bad for a gallon? Try paying $4.35!!!!!!!! That's the cost of standard unleaded here in Oz. Premium is another 32 cents.
