jc51373
bah, just run this in the car: [1974 Turbo RSR:] http://www.f1grandprixtours.com/images/sponsorpic6-l.jpg This turbo is way bigger than a T88. It's way cool considering this motor ran twin spark plug cylinder set up to make some serious power. Talk about lower compression ratio (say 5.5 or 6:1 running 40+ psi). Here are the rest: http://www.f1grandprixtours.com/images/turbo-029.jpg http://www.f1grandprixtours.com/images/turbo-032.jpg http://www.f1grandprixtours.com/images/Rsr-m-025.JPG http://www.f1grandprixtours.com/images/Engine-cooler.jpg http://www.f1grandprixtours.com/images/sponsorpic4-l.jpg http://www.f1grandprixtours.com/images/sponsorpic2-l.jpg http://www.f1grandprixtours.com/images/sponsorpic1-l.jpg http://www.f1grandprixtours.com/images/Porschevanveelen.JPG I am sure some of you guys wouldnt mind having something like this in your engine bay.. it would be nice to have a 6 litre boxer4 motor (1.5 litre per cylinder!!! talk about torque!!). Oh my stars....I would like one of those with cheese, paaaaaaleease! I personally like the car and like someone else said the room to customize the way you like. But I would want the following: Better tires Better brake pads Navi JDM 18" wheels Volume steering wheel Subtle (amber color)Ambient light pointed at the shifter from above Crome roof rails STI tuning option from factory Boost guage from factory in guage cluster A hot bimbo in the passenger seat That should do it. jc51373
Why have 1 when you can have 4? Very true, very true....It is in fact a 5 seater...And there is always room for the token Beefalo in the rear (if you have a wagon) for when the four hotties aren't in the mood. Penguin
How about an H6 twin sequential turbodiesel. Get about 300 hp and 470 lbft, and 35 mpg. That would do it for me, well that and laser beams in the headlights to destroy stupid motorists.
tsyGT
I'd like one with a warp drive. Or maybe a flux capacitor so that when I hit 66mph I could go back in time and arrive before I left. Realistically, my Dream legacy from SOA: STi (more hp, better brakes, suspension, wheels and tires, etc): driver adjustable suspension memory/massage/heated and cooled seats no rattles! non-integrated head unit/HVAC (or a much better stereo- Mark Levinson would be nice) iPod input (even just an Aux jack would be great!) HIDs and LED brake/signal lights Nav w/ bluetooth rear window wiper HUD (really nice to have- hard to go back after driving a bit) Steering wheel controls Or maybe I just need an M5 tom tom
Fallschirmjaeger
hmmm.... Dream Legacy, eh? Remote that won't unlock the doors as soon as I put keys in pocket. Gas filler door that unlocks with doors, not a seperate latch. 6-speed trans; auto or manual 3.0 litre H6 with Twin Turbo Folding seat in sedan Fog light in rear 18-inch rims w performance tires performance target : Audi S6 or BMW M5
tsyGT
I count 6 exhaust pipes I agree. I don't remember a 4 cylinder 911 Keefe. Aircooled, 6 liters. 1974? Cool. Thanks for the Pics Keefe. tom tom

I would rather have a car that has some hp and gearing out of it than to pull a house.. that's why if you drop the GT down to some stupid like 2500 lbs or less, it would be fast regardless.. imagine if the car was only a flat 2000 lbs? 1500 lbs off the current GT.. I'd like that! Keefe

Penguin
A gas H6 turbo would be great too, but I would still look at a turbodiesel for street use. I have driven the new MB E320D as we had one traded in, and I've got to say it was very responsive, quiet, and powerful. Diesels are heavy though, and a gas engine is more friendly on the track, but I do not live anywhere near a race track. I also would like to see a considerable wieght reduction in the car, but these days everyone wants more features, more quiet ride, more refinement. We get and more weight. I guess we could make the unibody out of titanium, and the body panels out of aluminum or carbon fiber. The car would be super strong and very light, and also cost a horrendous amount of money. You can deal with a H6-twin turbo or something along those lines (twin scroll is another option.. I like to opt for large displacement and a larger turbo setup with a higher redline to get my torque that way). You'll get the response from the displacement on the low end and the extra punch from the turbo from the mid and high end. I am sure it would be a kick-in-the-pants to have your 30-60 mph times to be something stupid like 2.5 seconds.. or my favorite is the 60-100 mph acceleration time of just under 2 seconds.. that's highway PASSING power. Yes, everyone wants their car to be a house on wheels (IMO, get an RV if you want that kind of stuff, no one needs a 15" LCD for the rear passngers and no one needs rear-reclining heated seats with a arm-rest that doubles up as refridgerator for your drinks). Last time I checked, we are the drivers/owners, not the passenger of the car.. we drive, so drive, not lounge around and make it to the point where it's beyond a first class flight. Make the body into a tube-frame chassis and whatever you do, dont get into a car accident. Keefe
Penguin
Well not running your car into someone else's car is allways a good guideline...I still feel a car should be strong enough to take an impact and protect the passengers.

Penguin
Got it, I agree with the tube chassis but the car will still have to have crumple zones to meet federal standards.
