need bb
I recently changed my tranny fluid and replaced with some Motul 300. I put in about 3.5QT, but when I checked it was a good ways above the full line. Should I siphon some out to get closer to the full line, or is overfilling it not an issue? Thanks
MilesA
The fluid is not under pressure, since the gear box works with splash lubrication. That said, a little over is probably OK, but I would pull out the excess. I used a vacuum pump for this very thing.
