choover1101
99 EJ25D phase1 how far can the heads be milled before hurting timing. I don't want to go turbo and would like to look at a high compression spare for my daily driver. rhd gvr4
I once worked at a machine shop, they let me mill heads.it was so satisfying watching all that metal coming off.i just kept cutting and cutting and cutting, seemed like the deck surface would not go flat. Finally i got it flat! As i removed it from the fixture,i realized i had it set up crooked. I didnt say anything, didnt want to loose my job. The head shipped with new angle on the deck surface. The customer called back to thank us,said his car never ran so good. I wish i was 18 again.
