dgoodhue
I figured I might as well document the shift lengths since I have 3 different shifter combinations. Maybe somebody else can help fill in the rest in of the combinations. [ I actually am kind of curious as what are the shift lengths for WRX STS with a short shift adapter.] I put a ruler under the hazard light and measured to the middle of the shift pattern on the knob. I know that this doesn't given exact geometric shift length but it does have consistent point to measure from. I did make sure that picture measurement matched what i thought the actual measure meant is (The picture angle an affect the measurement, I even went back to take an extra picture to correct it, because one of them didn't match) I did measurements for 3rd gear, neutral and 4th gear

FLlegacy
Are you sure you don't also have the boomba stick? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
dgoodhue
Are you sure you don't also have the boomba stick? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk I am positive that I don't. It's the same height as stock and STS accessory. It's just the angle (or lack of angle) of the pictures.

brandon.mol
I feel like the awesomeness of the boomba weighted short throw adapter cannot be overstated. The unweighted equivalents are garbage by comparison. The combination of the boomba weighted adaptor plus a heavy knob plus Redline lightweight shockproof made my trans/shifter feel notably better than a new MX-5. And if that doesn't say something, I don't know what does. By better, I mean smoother yet crisper shifts, and shorter but accurate feeling motion. FLlegacy
I wanted to add my shift lengths for comparison. I have the boomba stick and ssa, I removed the knob because it is very long. To give a relevant measurement. Looks like around a 2 1/4" throw from 3 to 4. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
