whampa65
Do you guys have a problem with the drivers floormat staying in place, it's driving me crazy, constantly coming off the clip?
Drakuun
Yes... Mine has since the day I brought it home.. NEVER EVER stays on.. And I even make sure not to pivot my feet on it getting in and out.. I can't believe that simply switching from gas to break causes it to pop loose..It's ridiculous.. Gire
Take it out and put a grippy all-weather rubber mat in its place. I did that in my first week of ownership because I didn't like how my heel was thinning the floor mat carpet to quickly. I'd rather wear down a 20.00 rubber mat that also helps to keep wetness out of my interior. Whampa65- you could live in Arizona for all I know and have never even seen a rubber floor mat! We swear by them in rainy Vancouver.
nKoan
Never had a problem with it moving or dislodging from the clip. I don't like, though, how fast it seems to be wearing at the heel

legacy2005
never had a problem with the original mats unhooking. recently bought the rubber suby mats and they stay in place and on the hook just fine. Work hard. Play even harder. My Garage
forestir
Perhaps your hook is twisted and facing the wrong way? Mine was hooked towards the pedals, so any foot pressure would tend to unhook it. I twisted it around and it seems to hold.
eL GaTo
Do you guys have a problem with the drivers floormat staying in place, it's driving me crazy, constantly coming off the clip? There was a Service Bulletin issued for this problem. Inspect the hook if the color of the sticker on the hook is yellow or green. If not, Subaru will replace it with no charge. The Subaru part no. is 950765A001. I just ordered the damn thing from Subaruparts.com and did it myself. I do not like taking my car to any mechanic unless I have to.
