MaasaiWarrior
Dealer Dealer Dealer, for oem quality gaskets and seals, only buy subaru branded, or it will leak again 08 Spec B, insta: @08_spec_b, 10 SH Forester insta: @shfozzy
bluesuby
If I remember correctly, the leak usually is fixed by replacing an o-ring available at the dealer for a couple dollars. Try a search and view the pictures. Easy job.

ATLspeed
Bumping this up. Is there an actual rebuild kit for these powersteering pumps from Subaru? Gave them a call and they say no. So what is everyone using? Not looking to buy a new/reman'd pump for $200+/-.
relative4
There is no rebuild kit. Search this forum and you'll find a guy who did a rebuild with photos and specs of all the O-rings, etc. he acquired in the process. FWIW, often the suction hose cracks where it meets the pump and makes it look like the pump is leaking.
Siriya
Apparently a known (and should be expected at some point) failure is that of the o-ring for the PS pump. Its easily resolved by a $3 o-ring from the dealer as mentioned by the gurus above.
