BeastCoast
I am torn between this CAI and the Takeda from AFE. http://ssdsubaru.blogspot.com/ I am also interested in their tower brace and alternator cover I have the Strut Tower Brace and Alternator Cover. Also spoke to Mike (the owner) directly. After I decided to paint mine, I had to remove the stickers. I communicated with him to send me more to put back on to continue advertising and he sent them for free and we wound up talking extensively afterwards. @BeastCoast1

BeastCoast
Which cover did you get the Forester? Yea, I had to add a few extra washers as spacers underneath when I installed it. Very slight difference I guess. Otherwise it was making contact with some fitting. @BeastCoast1

andrew_l_s
I'm wondering if the bent tube that is coated is better than the bare welded tubing... It's not bare metal, it's quite shiny and looks good. http://i.imgur.com/ehrMS77.jpg Lighting Mods: $10 Footwell Illumination | Tail as Turn | Fog as DRL Diode Dynamics C-Lights | RX350 Bi-Xenon Retrofit

15LegacyRyan
I have the strut tower, alternator cover (for the Legacy, got it before it became unavailable), and the takeda intake. Love them all and haven't had any problems with any of them. Also, my legacy is carbide Grey and I went with the red and it's sweet. Mostly chose the red to go with all the other red parts I've put on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
andrew_l_s
No I mean bare metal VS coated against the heat of the radiant of the engine bay. Don't see how that would be an issue...likely the anodized metal would be more durable than paint anyway.
