Beamercub
Was worried about disconnecting the negative battery cable/ will I need a code to activate the radio or satellite? Fingers crossed that when I reconnect the battery, nothing will be changed or need adjusting... -Memory seat buttons?

Turn headlight stalk off (not on auto setting) and don't open the door. Keep car powered off. You will be fine. Problem would be if you are messing with HID wiring, someone opens car door, ambient light is bad in garage, Auto sensors turn on headlights because you left them in Auto, and there ya go, zing. chowser51
I hooked up a portable power supply to my obdii port when I disconnected my battery to clean it and didn't lose any of my settings.
BeastCoast
You wont lose any settings. Just your clock. Power windows don't even need to be recalibrated. I have unhooked my battery probably 15 times and everytime, the auto windows stop working for a little bit but start workign again on their own. @BeastCoast1
