therieldeal
I will be swapping out my very rusty oil pan with my next oil change. Possibly sooner if the leak gets any worse. The bolts are also quite rusty and i would like to replace them with stainless while i have everything apart. Anyone have a spare bolt kicking around? I'd like to know the thread diameter, pitch, and under head length. Thanks in advance!
Max Capacity
6mmX1.25X what ever 1/2" long is in metric. Lock washers may help too. They may be 1.00 pitch, what ever is common for that size bolt. They are 6mm fine thread. Very common bolt. I did that with my oil pan years back. You can sometimes find bolt info in the sticky at the top of the very first forum here. killerbmotorsport
I'm late to the parts, but we carry M6 x 1.0 stainless fasteners in various lengths for a bunch of kits we make. For the pan we use Socket Head Cap Screws (Allen drive) which makes assembling the pan back into the block easier than the factory hey heads
