arg36
In my seemingly never ending quest to cure my Bug Eye Impreza 2.5RS of its misfire codes, I just pulled the fuel injectors and had them cleaned and flow tested. All came back within spec after cleaning, and were installed with new O-Rings on the injectors and in the fuel rail itself. Despite being bolted fully down, I can't quite get the fuel rail down far enough to get the clips that slide on the fuel rail and injectors to seat properly (although I do think corrosion on both parts is partly to blame) I've thoroughly test driven the car and found no leaks or loss in fuel pressure. Whats everyone think? Good enough for a beater?http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161113/0b22d1c6b50e46184122be9b0c35238c.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161113/ba14b6f29a7d818fc9c561937d5d5a7e.jpg Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
GEE-OTTO
I would try to find a replacement hard pipe/rail for that side ASAP. Corrosion isnt good but if it wont seat properly something is askew.
nads
Did you lube the injector o-rings? Like with motor oil or Petroleum jelly? You may have gotten the wrong size seals and they are too big. I agree with Gee, get better rails too.
