Just rock it back and forth to loosen it up. Using a steel tool will break the bulb. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

FLlegacy
If you are replacing with an led they only work one way try turning the bulb around. Also make sure the wire leads are making good contact. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

Mrstacy
Hm. I noticed I had several fuses missing from the map on the inside fuse box map. when I replaced them, I now get a hum (like the old tvs test pattern sound) with anything other than auto headlights and the door open. Maybe this is a feature that I didn't know about?
Mrstacy
Check the fuse for the biu Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk I swapped with same result. maybe the trunk sensor is broken? or the wire cut. I can live with it. thanks for the ideas though.
YeuEmMaiMai
when I replaced my trunk light, I used a LED light strip.... now there is actually usable light in there... https://smile.amazon.com/iJDMTOY-18-SMD-5050-Strip-Interior-Illumination/dp/B009K6IW00/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1474839050&sr=1-1&keywords=led+trunk+light
Picky1
I did the same, added a couple small LED strips in the trunk now you can see what you are doing. Still trying to figure out the best way to get an under hood light, anyone ever try?

Still trying to figure out the best way to get an under hood light, anyone ever try? A simple hood pin switch for an alarm system along with a single fused wire to the battery positive terminal and you'd be good to go. Just ground to the hood. GTEASER
If you added fuses where the were none, I would be concerned about the humming sound eventually burning my car down.
