Franz Liszt's Les Preludes (i.e. "The Beginnings").

 

Most people know that The Lone Ranger (radio, movie, and TV dramas in the 1940s and 50s) used the gallop from Rossini's William Tell Overture as its opening theme. Less well known is that both The Lone Ranger and Flash Gordon (cheezy sci-fi movie serials circa 1940, later shown on TV) used broad excerpts from Liszt's dramatic symphonic poem, Les Preludes. Below is the finale, including the triumphant closing fanfare, in which you may recognize some familiar themes:

I'm not even surprised, this just confirms my opinion.

 

Lots of people who use ad blockers say they do it to block malicious ads that can sometimes hack their devices or harvest sensitive information on them. It turns out, the NSA, CIA, and other agencies in the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) are also blocking ads potentially for the same sorts of reasons.
