Are purchases often delayed beyond 30 days? I read that some people photoshop an old receipt or go to a store they frequent that lets them buy a lock and return it after going out to the car

Not sure I follow why you want more locks ether. If having 3 locks didnt work, whats another free one going to do? It has to be accompanied with a proof of purchase and the proof cant be older then 30 days. Why im not sure, its as if locks expire if not used within 30 days of purchase

I also would point my finger at the MFG's though. They are required to make an entire gun thats CA compliant, knowing these FSD laws exists, and they cant toss a lock in to make it easy? Lame.

You can only make 1 purchase every 30 days. So, yes, purchases are delayed beyond 30 days. 1 per month with a 10 day wait. By the time you can pick up, its over 30 days.

I dont want more locks, lol. Thats the point. All my firearms (not on display) are in DOJ approved safes. Why should I need locks??? If you want to stop a gun from firing, cut off the trigger finger.

The 229 I bought is not CA compliant. Thats why I bought it. Loophole in the law for private party transfers can be taken advantage of allowing you to legally purchase off roster weapons. The gun never came with a lock from Sig.

Anyone else fall out of their chair seeing the pic of the female protester with the anti NRA poster wearing the Molon labe sweatshirt??? Damn snowflakes dont even know what they are protesting for.

Some cable locks aren’t as cheap as they look. Out of curiosity I tried cutting the lock I got with my Colt using Cable Cutters (Klein Tools cutters, so no cheap tools were used) and it would not budge. I tried a set of bolt cutters as well and it took a lot of effort just to cut through the coating.

LOL yes, very painful. Like protesting the release of a pedophile while wearing a pedobear shirt.

I split the difference by being a S&W fan boy. I want to pick me up a new M&P in 9 as my carry (have it in .40S&W. Currently carrying a Gen 2 G19 and a G42. At the end of the day I dont care that much, I'll make fun of you no matter what you carry!

Threaded barrel that I use in the gen4 19 should fit both these guns.

The 19 barrel lugs stayed the same and they only changed the 17's right? Every time I see the 19X and those sights I keep saying I'll get them next paycheck.

Funny thing is I figured out what was wrong with my P80 build. The tolerance with the trigger housing and the cruciform was huge enough it would fail a drop test or literately just fire off 3 rounds in 1 pull and stop simply because after 3 shots it fails to reset like a 3 round burst cam.

I also learned this is not a great shotgun add on...

Going back to this guy here...

I kinda like sigs, just none of the cheaper ones. I tried out the 365 and it was ok. It felt like a well built HiPoint being so top heavy but that weight made it shoot better.

The one I keep circling around is this guy here....

As for that last shooting, it's painful to hear people say stuff like "at least the Glock wasn't a semi auto...."

Yes. In the gen5, they changed the 17 to have the 19 lug setup.

So far so good. Did 150rnds of FMJ through each gun. 50 rounds of JHP. Then I did 50 rounds each suppressed. No issues. I just wish the 19X had the Ameriglo night sights. I’m going to stick suppressor height sights on it eventually.

I’m still waiting on my P365 so I can compare it to the Glock 43.

Call me weird but the legion series doesn't appeal to me at all, it is nicely equipped but I feel like it's gaudy. I shot a 229 legion and in comparison with my 229 Nitron compact I don't think it shoots that much better and I don't feel like it's equipped with anything that I would want over aftermarket upgrades nor are they upgrades that I feel like I would need to do immediately.

as for the shooting, I keep saying he didn't kill anyone because he had a glock ;)

Point blank mentor has one in rental case. That's how I took pic and shot it a page back. Feels extremely cheap compared to the other Sigs but it still shoots good.

Haven't come across the other ones and didn't intend on modifying it like I did my Glock. Polishing parts is most of what I did on top of the connector. Firing the 19X yesterday I realized my Gen 3 felt better after polishing it and the connector swap. Edited by Merc6
