Redslaya
AND found another oil leak! this time its coming from what appears to be the back of the block, above the passenger side motor mount, near the oil filter. no idea what it is, hoping you guys could enlighten me. http://i.imgur.com/cG0B291.jpg http://i.imgur.com/EqicgYH.jpg
WahooNo2
have you done the valve cover gaskets yet? they fail on passenger side because of header design to up pipe. before doing anything clean off the old oil with brake cleaner or engine degreaser and then keep checking till you see where leak is coming from. Redslaya
very common valve cover leak. http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x40/92Si/DSCN4731.jpg valve covers were done less than 10k miles ago by a dealer. this like is near where the heads meet the block, not the valve covers. its not a head gasket leak. WahooNo2
Maybe check the turbo oil lines after you clean the area. When the car is running you may be able to see it seeping. wear eye protection and know where all the spinning bits are before you do this so you dont get hurt, burned, etc.
jayrex
Also rule out if its a power steering pump leak. I know its a long shot, but this is what mine looked like. I can kinda see some red it your picture, but it might just be the light. Its hard to see the red color after it makes its way down the engine. I could not see any visible leak on the pump, but it was pooling a bit on the top of the engine and running down around.
