Brother OCD has demonstrated that the light-output impingement by the complete-covering tint overlay from Jinsu is minimal. However, what I wanted to achieve with this particular mod was to subdue the "chrom-y" look of our stock rears, while at the same time keeping the unit as "stock looking" as possible in order to cut-down on the chances of getting pulled-over by enforcement, who typically do not take kindly to tinting of brake-lights.
