shadowsports Posted May 8, 2016 Share Posted May 8, 2016 I don't have this problem with my AP, but its a V2. I do have it with my radar detector which is a 9500ix. On occasion WOT causes a Laser Alert. If I move the detector to another power source, it doesn't happen. Only happens the front lighter socket. Wrap it in a big towel, still happens. Laser uses light in 905nm spectrum. Never get radar falses. Can't tell you how disconcerting it is to hear that sound when you're merging on to an empty freeway. You're thinking I'm alone, but the alert makes you think you're toast. I'll try cleaning everything. Although the terminals on my batt. are pretty clean to start. Can't hurt. Thanks guys.
