I took my A/T 2005 OBXT out for a spin earlier and I noticed that when at a full stop the front of the car bounces at the same frequency as the idle. I am pretty sure that after 11 years and 140,000 miles the motor mounts are on their way out if they haven't yet gone completely.

I tried searching for a DIY motor mount tutorial here but no joy. My 2005 FSM says to pull the motor to do the mounts  yeah, that isn't going to fly.

A while back I read something about jacking the motor up and pulling one mount at a time but I haven't found much else on it and before I punch through my oil pan with a jack I figured I'd ask for some advice.

Does anyone have any suggestions or walkthroughs to point me towards?

Thanks in advance!

Make sure to disconnect the pitch stop mount first. Long swivel head box end wrenches will make life easier. Place a small block of wood between the engine and sub frame as insurance for your fingers. Make sure your phone is near you in case it falls on you. Search you tube/google for the rest. Oh, put some wood between the oil pan and jack.
