NavigatorsLegacy
Reading a Motor Trend mag, I discovered an Ad about.... Xado, smart nanotechnology for your vehicle which in short is an anti-wear engine treatment... Since I am not a mechanic nor an authoritarian on this subject....is this fact, or fiction? Im guessing the latter...but would appreciate any technical discussions on the matter...
fedaykin
Looks like something similar to Liqui Moly products http://www.liqui-moly.de/liquimoly/produktdb.nsf/id/en_1011.html?OpenDocument&land=GB&voilalang=e&voiladb=web.nsf http://www.liqui-moly.de/liquimoly/produktdb.nsf/id/en_3721.html?OpenDocument&land=GB&voilalang=e&voiladb=web.nsf
NORULZleggy
Check Out Amsoil P.I, I have been using this in my car for years. I pulled my motor due to head gaskets (I hate you Subaru) and the piston, valves, and the rest were clean as a whistle. Also the head were spic and span. My Legacy car has 150K and my Outback has 175K run like champs. DonnyJagaru
If a city cab can go 600,000 miles using the cheapest conventional oil and filters, and routinely exceeding the recommended oil change schedules, I seriously doubt there's any benefit to any oil additive.
