Andy_Mac
Can anyone explain the torque portion of this dyno run and what its actually reading to get so high. been shown some rough calcs to try account for gear ratio and final drive ratio torque multiplication but still doesn't quite seem to add up as it should to the power figure http://i1149.photobucket.com/albums/o594/andy_mac1/A18B0257-5431-4B05-B97C-BCB045FA04B4_zps5bskcdjw.jpg Logs done with Romraider and Virtual Dyno running the Dynojet option give roughly 175kw and 335nm. So the power figure is resonable but has a very different torque interpretation. 2000 Legacy B4 RSK - SOLD 2006 Legacy BP5 GT Spec B wagon - Garage Thread 2011 VW T5 van 2.0L of turbo diesel awesomeness

Andy_Mac
Only a 3 port and both downpipe cats removed. Also its a JDM twinscroll 2.0 so torque should be down a fair bit compared to what you guys are used to 2000 Legacy B4 RSK - SOLD 2006 Legacy BP5 GT Spec B wagon - Garage Thread 2011 VW T5 van 2.0L of turbo diesel awesomeness
chimera
Surely that Nm scale must be out, I'm sure our cars run stock around the 300-350Nm of torque or so?? Maybe the ink fell down the page when you held it up... :-)
Andy_Mac
Found out today that its a sorta custom made dyno by a tuning company in Auckland that must sell them on. So going to be giving them a call to see how its interpreting the torque values, so should have an answer fairly soon. I've seen 3 graphs from 3 cars from the same day and all three seem to show roughly double the torque that'd be expected of them. By the way, what part of NZ are you in Chimera? 2000 Legacy B4 RSK - SOLD 2006 Legacy BP5 GT Spec B wagon - Garage Thread 2011 VW T5 van 2.0L of turbo diesel awesomeness
