Is the Legacy a head turner?

Recommended Posts

I've driven around, parked where I normally do, and nobody notices it until I say something. It's pretty cool, but in a way it would be nice if people said like nice car, or is that a new WRX?

 Squirrel-bait, you're back. I still love that Avatar, reminds me of shows when I was a kid. I'm hoping drawing them in is drawing in all the good ones. Dunno what you can get this days, but with the looks and grown-up appeal, there should be some good milf around.

Sube, the character in my avatar is Flat Eric. He was in some Levi commercials a few years back. I guess he was more of a phenomenon in the UK. I'm all for some MILF action. I understand the wagon has 72" between the backs of the front seats and the tailgate. sqrl b8

I have people who try to catch up to me once I've let them drop back from a light or onramp. ;) Happened for some reason on the extra-urban highways late tonight coming home from a movie. I was just trying to drop off my friend and head home. ;)

Ok, I drove the car home stock, I didnt turn heads, but after 2 hours of messing around with the car and making it look like this: NOW I TURN HEADS.
In Maryland USA, that is the standard license plate issued colors (black lettering, white reflective tag). There's two other tags (an orange fade to red FARM tag) and the "bay" tag (white to blue tag). Keefe
How about a full side shot of the car? I'd like to see what the rims look like form the side. Looks sweet with those rims from what I can see.
I think he meant the Camry. The rear-end does have a striking resemblance to the Legacy! Yikes!
All the more stealth to surprise people with! :D "Hey, Jeff, the guy in the 'Camry' wants to pass us." "No way... watch me smoke him." "He's passing us, Jeff... floor it!" "I AM flooring it. What the heck kind of Camry is that?!?!" HEHEHE.
What is up with that number plate being the same colour as the car.....? WHAT THE ??
I can answer that. In the US, every state has distinctive plates. To make commercials and promo photos "nationally accessible", they get a generic plate and paint it body color so that you can't tell what state it's from. Usually they're Michigan plates, since we have one where only the plate numbers themselves are raised (that, and the Big Three are here). That, plus the huge license plate frame they also painted, keeps the audience from going "feh, it's a California car". Dumb, but for some reason the ad agencies have all been doing it lately.

I looked at him, he rev'd up his car, and I just laughed. It was on a residential street.. no way. I thought I got the Legacy GT so people wouldn't try to race me!

After I got my short shifter installed yesterday I was driving back on the highway. These 17-20 year olds (guys and girls in the car) pull up along side me, the guys in the front seats are starring hard at my car, probably trying to figure out what it is. As they go buy they notice the scoop I think :) Then as they pull by the two girls in the back are starring out the back window at the car :) looking at me or the car, probably the car, but hopefully both, haha.

the car gets me no attention. but one day 3x I was noticed: First I jumped a Ford F150 Lighting at a dual lane on ramp light. he got in front of me no problem due to my 4000 rpm shifting, but his eyes were glued to his rear view mirror with that WTF WAS THAT look. then a brand new dark blue C320 sport coupe gave me the complete drive around. from behind, then around to the front staring in his rear view side view, then he passed again behind me. Maybe thinking he bought the wrong car? heh heh And some kids in an Accord were staring, pointing and talking, so I am pretty sure they know whats up. And since that day, no attention, back into generic-ness.

I havent had too many looks here in WV (bout an hr south of Pittsburgh)... However, today I was leaving a buddies house and came outside to find 2 people ( in a subie wagn) who had stopped in the middle of the road to check out my ride they sat there for a good minute. Also I ran into my boss at the market and he sorta looked at me a smiled after he realized it was me, he sorta did a double take and walked around to the front to see what kinda car it was, he had this look like ummm maybe we are paying you too much! LOL I love it!!!! I've been expecting to see more of them here locally but havent yet. The dealer here (john Howard) is one of the higher volume dealers in the country and there are lots of other subies round town. Peace
