Have you considered getting a pair of OE calipers from a salvage yard (locally or via Ebay)? I bought a front and right LGT caliper off Ebay for $60 shipped each, and they were in excellent shape. Minimal mileage and never saw salt.

If you are somewhere near me, I'd sell them to you. I bought them with the intention of powdercoating, but I'll probably never get around to it. Just an option.

Im in north new jersey. Any idea if these are the correct ones? http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?catalog=142&partnum=14147042&a=www.google.com%2BSearch%2Bfor%2BCENTRIC%2B14147042&blanktemplate=true Also compsurge, yes I did take the cap off.

Yes, that's the correct part. By the way, the 4th gen LGT and Tribeca share the same front calipers.

Amazon appears to have that caliper for $60 shipped through a re-seller (or $106 direct from Amazon). $60 would be a great deal or maybe a price mistake? Or a suspicious? Also, if you poke around Ebay and search for "legacy GT front caliper" you have to be very careful. A lot of people will say a caliper fits the LGT when it's actually a 2.5i caliper. The one you want has the visual appearance from the link you had. Any other shape of caliper is not the right one no matter what they try to tell you.

Thanks for the info. Was thinking the amazon one, think it looks a bit sketchy?

The Amazon seller has 4.7/5.0 ratings on almost 1000 reviews, so it's probably pretty safe. The RockAuto website is always a good/safe seller, but the core charge is expensive and shipping back your old caliper really cuts into the core charge.

I'd go with the Amazon one. It's not clear on how fast you'd get the caliper, but the reviews seemed like they shipped quick.

Also, the right and left side calipers are different parts, so make sure you get one of each.

Just refined the search our's are like $94.00 for fronts. Still you know your getting the right part the first time. I'm still waiting for my CC refund from a on-line place that sent me the wrong part for my GF's car. I shipped the part back two weeks ago yesterday.
