honeybunch2222
Hi, I have made my oil change today, I see a little leak under the engine block. Passenger side on the back. It seem a head gasket leak. I dont understand why maybe I have a head gasket leak. The h6 its not supposed to have this problem? My legacy is a 2013 and I only have 35 000 km. I want your opinion. whitetiger
looks like a very minor leak/seepage. at this point i wouldnt worry about it, but check it every once in a while. a 2013 with 35k km should be under warranty still, so you should be able to have it repaired if you want to. GEE-OTTO
Yeah my 08 did that when new then dried up has been for 130k miles. Have the dealer look they will probably replace them preemptively.
GTEASER
A little seepage like that is totally normal. Horizontally opposed motors like in our Subaru's inherently cause the head gaskets and valve covers to be bathed in oil and/or coolant all the time, unlike inline and v motors where the heads are near the top of the motor. NW36R
I hate to revive a 4 year old thread. My car has an oily spot in the same place. Did it get worse for you or has it stayed the same?
honeybunch2222
Unfortunatly I sell the car, I don't think the new owner goes to the dealer to check this out.
