Ok, little progress but problem not solve, man fitting these swaybar is pain. I find the right way to place it, but I have a other problem. The endlink is sooooo tight. Im not sure of they will resist the pressure. And one side of the bar touch the crossmember, I will try to install some spacer. But not sure if the swaybar move on bump. What do you think about it? Cost its not a problem, a choose this because the Tribeca swaybar is bigger than after market, I read it right here on lgt forum. Envoyé de mon SM-A705W en utilisant Tapatalk -
Hi there, I have seen in other thread that tribeca swaybar fit on Legacy 05-09 and many other model. I decided to try out but after I have install it, it seem to not fit at all. The swaybar is longer and touch the control arm end link brace. See the pictures. Sone have a idea what I not done correctly. Someone has pictures? Envoyé de mon SM-A705W en utilisant Tapatalk

I'm little septic about what you say, I disconnect the hose from the boost control solenoid with the aftermarket BOV installed and make some pull and I reach 17-19 PSI, the BOV is not the cause. This is why I can't understand what is the problem, and right now I replace the Boost control Solenoid, and I can't reach more than 10 PSI.

Hi folks, I have a Legacy Gt 2008, all stock, only Oil catch can and GFB BOV and strait exhaust, but stock downpipe. I can't reach my target boost of 12 psi I think its 12 psi the target boost. First I was only reaching 7-8 PSI, I rant my own smoke test no leak in IC or intake. Now time to test Boost control Solenoid. I disconect all Hose from the Boost Control Solenoid, run the car, with gentle acceleration, Wow I reached 17-18PSI on 2-3 pulls. I conclude My boost control solenoid is stuck, I replace it, by a brand new. Boost control solenoid, replaced, but now I can reach 9-10 PSI but not more. I need your help guys, Have you a idea? Maybe its the T with the restrictive pill? need your input. :)

Thanks for the advice, I install 2 catch can. One from after pcv to the can and come back to intake manifold. Then a other that come from crankcase, no pcv and I joint this to 2 t from cylinder head to a can and come back to air intake. I cap the other hose from air intake. What do you think about it? It seem's like your setup? On my dual can setup I actually run the crank (non-pcv) vent and heads to separate cans. Then the PCV valve is hooked up like factory. This allows water and fuel to be burned off under vacuum, but stops oil vapor for clogging up the intercooler and throttle body.

I have read this article http://www.radiumauto.com/Blog/Post/New-Product-Release-Subaru-AOS-and-Oil-Catch-Cans-103 What I understand now that is when the car is under load or high boot teh pcv valve close and the air and oil is send direct to the intake, I follow the diagram and clos the ose to the intake and routed it to the no 2 catch can. I'm not sur if i,m right.

Hi, another oil catch can question, I'm installing 2 oil catch can on my 08 Legacy GT, I have installed the one that connect to block head to one catch can and the other one to catch the oil from pcv valves, I have installed it from the pcv valve to intake manifold, but on some diagram I see that you need to start one line from crankcase vent port. I don't understand the necessity to route a line from this vent to catch can. It seem that line goes to the engine block if I follow it. See my picture in attachment, see the red circle. What if I let this line there intact ? Thanks

Turbosmart dualport problem
honeybunch2222 replied to honeybunch2222's topic in Turbo Powertrains (2.0GT, 2.5GT, 2.5XT)
The turbo don' seem to flutter but I hear some little back fire on the exhaust. I have try at the softest and hardest setting on bov, same problem. The vacuum work properlly. I remove the vacuum hose and the engine seems to stall(normal) I suspect a leak with the bov -

Turbosmart dualport problem
honeybunch2222 posted a topic in Turbo Powertrains (2.0GT, 2.5GT, 2.5XT)
Hello there, I have a little problem with my turbosmart dual port BOV. I have just bought a Turbosmart dualport BOV, used one, second hand, I have install it, but at softest or hardest setting when I rev the car on neutral the BOV stay stuck, my car is on 4 jackstand right now and I can't drive it for now. But is it normal that the piston dosen't move if I rev the car on neutral? I dissamble it, and clean the piston and o ring, I put oil on it but the piston is very hard to move, I don't know if I must replace the o ring and the spring. Someone has hint about that problem? How can I test the BOV ? I have removed the 2 oring inside the housing and the piston move freely . I have tried it like that with the spring installed but I have the same problem. There is not enough boost to move the piston in the bov when you don't drive? My car is a Legacy GT 2008 stock. Thanks
