Intercooler brace bolts

Recommended Posts

Can you post a picture of the location you are talking about? I believe you may be talking about the flange between the turbo and intercooler or the one on the drivers rear corner. I can take any of mine off and measure them if you just let me know which bolts you are talking about.

I'm pretty sure they're M8x1.25, I've been replacing all the bolts with stainless lately....

I think that's what they are too. I couldn't get into the machine shop yesterday to check for sure though.

If the're a 10mm head, they're m6. If 12, they're m8.

Yep. A lot of the aftermarket/stainless M8-threaded bolts come with a 13mm head, although the M6's still all come with a 10mm head.....

This is true! Such as in the case where one buys the GS 8mm spacers that come with new, longer intake manifold bolts -- 13mm heads on 'em. ;)
