samcuomo
Does anyone happen to know what size/thread pitch the intercooler brace bolts that thread into holes on the manifold are?
magnusonsubie
Can you post a picture of the location you are talking about? I believe you may be talking about the flange between the turbo and intercooler or the one on the drivers rear corner. I can take any of mine off and measure them if you just let me know which bolts you are talking about. 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B

magnusonsubie
Okay. Simple enough I will measure them when I am out of class in an hour. 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B

MrTris
Should be m6x1.0 or 1.25, if a finer thread.
zactek
I'm pretty sure they're M8x1.25, I've been replacing all the bolts with stainless lately....

I couldn't get into the machine shop yesterday to check for sure though. 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B
MrTris
If the're a 10mm head, they're m6. If 12, they're m8.

A lot of the aftermarket/stainless M8-threaded bolts come with a 13mm head, although the M6's still all come with a 10mm head..... Zack K.

This is true! Such as in the case where one buys the GS 8mm spacers that come with new, longer intake manifold bolts -- 13mm heads on 'em.
