RRH Posted March 12, 2015 Share Posted March 12, 2015 Like it says, my speakers make a buzzing noise when I have the headlights on and nothing plugged into my aux cord. As soon as I plug my phone into the aux cord, it stops. It is only on the aux cord setting though. No sound with headlights off. What could it be? foxymomo Posted March 12, 2015 Share Posted March 12, 2015 Sounds like a bad ground somewhere. +1. these radios are notorious for having bad groundings. if youve ever seen your radio and ac display flashing wildly or have had the volume knob not work, this is the case. fix for me is quite simple though, apply solid pressure to the plastic panel just over and then under the seek rocker/button. problem solved. you could open up the radio and take it to an electronic shop to have the soldering repaired, but it really isnt necessary.
