You'd definitely need to factor in maintenance for an older vehicle but I imagine the older Subarus would be cheaper to maintain than VWs or Audis of the same generation. some mods can be done to the GT to get better mpg and still have the power. Unless you're gong to rip out the passenger seats & trunk / swap out for skinny tyres / cover all cracks with duct tape then what ever you spend to reduce MPG will likely not return any savings. Kcids Posted February 23, 2015 Author Share Posted February 23, 2015 I am going to look at a white '06 LGT Limited for 7k, 133k miles with upgraded turbo (35k ago) BNR stage 1, EVO 16G compressor wheel/TD05H turbine wheel (max-rated at 300 WHP) along with both OCV solenoids.
