Billy Dagwood
I had sort of assumed at this point that Subaru was going to pigeonhole me straight into a WRX on the next go-'round, but this is definitely something to consider, now that there's no more wrx hatch... http://www.autoblog.com/2015/02/03/2016-ford-focus-rs-official/
BX77
Been reading a lot about these cars for the last week, AWD is what The Focus ST/RS needs.

TrueWhiteBoy
I do wish the ST had AWD as it would make it much more appealing and the RS may be awesome, but a bit out of my price range unfortunately. I'm really looking forward to seeing how much power they can get out of that 2.3 though for both the Focus RS and the Mustang
lingling1337
Subaru needs to bring the Levorg over here soon, otherwise I'm going to be buying a Ford.
jj808
Subaru has already guaranteed that my next vehicle won't be a Subaru. Ford is seriously working on it being a Ford.
subie_dude05
I am concerned about the sale price, I hope it won't be to far north of 30k. It should be released about the time I am going to be looking for a legacy replacement. I was considering a WRX also, so I will have to give them both a drive. I do like the sound of "drift mode." This blue is also amazing! http://assets.nydailynews.com/polopoly_fs/1.2164879!/img/httpImage/image.JPG_gen/derivatives/article_635/2016-ford-focus-rs.JPG
jj808
Oh, I think they will be way far north of 30k. Im thinking more like mid 40s.
05GT Guru
Mid 40s... would be an insane price for a FWD focus. Granted it is a 315hp focus but that is still an outrageous price. Mid 40s buys you a lot of car even today.
subie_dude05
40's is way to high. It is great to see AWD in a focus, in the US, but I couldn't justify that much. For that much coin I would be looking at the SHO Taurus.
05GT Guru
Oh they are doing AWD eh. Mid 40s is still too high.
GipsySpec.B
I wouldn't mind one of these either! Most places I've seen are estimating it around 36-39k which I think is reasonable.
05GT Guru
I read the rumor is 37k but that is unconfirmed and who knows what options will cost.
jj808
Don't forget that since it is THE new hotness out there that the stealerships will charge a premium because they KNOW that the rich idiots will pay it so their useless kids can have it. Billy Dagwood
Bottom line is that it'll be competitively priced with the sti. After that it's all a matter of options.

Billy Dagwood
I'm just going to leave this here. Yes, it's a render, but no, that doesn't make it any less interesting of a prospect. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v220/billydagwood/844790132723787070_zpskxep8s74.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v220/billydagwood/3145931571241548558_zpsxf9avrwu.jpg
whitetiger
i would love a fusion with the SHO engine and drivetrain.
Billy Dagwood
I would be totally ok with it having the focus rs drivetrain. I still want my awd, and I especially want my mt

05GT Guru
I always thought 40k was too much for an STI as well. But I'm cheap.
whitetiger
^it is. i remember when the 04 sti came out. wasnt it like 33k fully loaded.
Billy Dagwood
STI money I'm actually ok with that, provided it has STI performance -- it makes sense. The STI is souped-up impreza, the evo was a souped-up lancer, so why shouldn't the RS be a souped-up focus for the same money? Don't even get me started on the Golf R.
