Zee199969
Im thinking about picking up their plastic diamond mesh and doing a custom grill with that as well. My "Build"

Falcor
Finally got a pic of the grill. I think it still needs a Subaru emblem to finish it off. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/moab123/Subaru/622695CA-819E-4F94-ABE4-453BDFADE44E_zpswkmm27io.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/moab123/Subaru/2DCFF32C-F778-42DB-9C29-749830FF847A_zps62zp2p4y.jpg
brandon.mol
You need to spray everything behind it with some flat black.
MRLancaster
You should cut your old grille and then place this in it, so you have a trim along the outside.
IQ9
It looks good. The logo might help if you feel its too plain. Good work!
Falcor
You should cut your old grille and then place this in it, so you have a trim along the outside. The 2010-2014 NA Outbacks didn't have a chrome ring around the grill. That's what made it such a pain. http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/attachments/gen-4-2010-2014/18008d1290814170-light-bar-2010-bar1.jpg
MRLancaster
Buy a Legacy grille! Or do they not fit on the Outbacks?
Falcor
Buy a Legacy grille! Or do they not fit on the Outbacks? The Legacy grill is shorter, so would. So would need a filler panel.
Falcor
I finally removed the grill and sandblasted it in a little booth blaster we have at work. The paint was chipping after about a year (bad rattle can paint job). It will be powder coated matte black tomorrow. That way I never have to worry about the paint again.
