dshive
Hey guys Right now, the car is stock, exhaust wise. I want some more sounds, just enough to hear some subi rumble, but not loud lol I do not want loud. Is the best course of action to replace the resonator with the Vibrant? Appreciate any help! Max Capacity
Put washers between the Y pipe and muffler flanges. Or just remove the muflers and start it up...you may like that. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/new-hog-zawst-system-sound-power-patented-washer-technology-35764.html 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. bigleben
You can always look in the classified for the ebay mufflers only. Back then I used to have a 3'' catted DP with the ebay catback but its was too loud for my taste so I kept the mid-pipe and sold the mufflers which are "OEM fitment". I think I'm not the only one who did this. You can always use the washer trick but on long-term it tends to bend the flanges and makes it hard to make a good seal afterward. dshive
the washer idea isn't bad but I don't really like how it can potentially damaging the flanges
Scooby Fan
The washer trick "Hogzaust" sounds like just what it is....It IS an exhaust leak
CapnJack
Install a SPT exhaust. It sounds nice (not too loud) and will be the last exhaust you put on the car.
