AMileHighLGT
If catted, you should be good to go.
ivonr
If catted, you should be good to go. I keep reading about stage 2's failing in CO even with a catted DP, have you had any luck?
ivonr
Why are you going to knowingly set the car up wrong? I would never spend money on my car and do something that is not the proper way of doing it. Its your car but just to have some extra whoosh sound its not worth it. The stock valve works just fine till you start running much higher boost from a larger turbo. what if i set the GFB to 15% atmosphere?

AMileHighLGT
Maybe I'm wrong? As far as I know from what I've read on Facebook south Denver subie club, and legacy club of Colorado, many people have catted after market down pipes and pass.. STi UP has a flex section that's got a bit of a bulge to it that looks like a catted UP. Might be a good option for you.
Merc6
I have a STI up, this sombich was ******* on point as if he already knew. Either way Commonwealth of VA requires no emissions test to get new stickers for a car garaged out of state and the registration has my local address on it. Win Win. Plus tint and front plate laws aren't enforced for out of town plates. 2005 Satin White Pearl Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT Unlimited 5EAT (Project Car) 2019 Agate Black Ford Explorer XLT 4WD (DD)
