silencedsteak Posted August 2, 2014 Share Posted August 2, 2014 Hi guys, I Have a 2005 3.0R Legacy manual and today the steering wheel locked up and all the warning lights came up on the dash when I braked and came to a stop. It did this several times The engine stays running when It happens but I cant do anything. So when I turn the ignition off and then restart the engine it works again. Its very strange. The only thing I can think of that I've done to it is that I had to jump start the battery the other night and today I replaced the battery with a new one and now it does this?? I have not heard of this one before. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
