garygbnj Posted July 7, 2014 Share Posted July 7, 2014 Special S and redline gear oil. It stopped the 4th gear grind. Shifting is notchy. 176 k miles. Any remedies? The trans was never the smoothest I have driven. Sometimes on fast acceleration will miss a shift, sometimes difficult to go into reverse-dbl clutch to engage. Anything to allow smooth fast shifts?
