mkee87
So I've got a coolant leak where the hose from the reservoir joins the metal line to the turbo. Would heater hose work to replace it and would the screw kind of hose clamp be better than the OEM squeeze vkind?
kzr750r1
Sure but you can't beat OEM quality in some cases. What your probably fighting the most is the slow seepage has caused corrosion on the hard line. The hose is cheap enough. If you use worm gear clamps don't over tighten. Make sure you hit the hard line with some sand paper or emery cloth to get the corrosion off the line.

mkee87
Cleaned the corrosion off and put new hose clamps on, hope it solves things.
kzr750r1
You may still want to go buy a new hose. The one your referring to takes a beating with heat cycles. Don't throw those clamps away cause it's good to have spares on hand just in case.
