Just a grind and bondo job, but I don't have access to a welder for a patch panel. It sure beats driving around with a bubbly fender though. How did you blend the paint / clear coat? I sanded down a couple inches around the repair taking gradually less paint away and feathered it. After paint I polished the area to knock down any orange peel. It matched rather well. I didn't go too crazy trying to blend it given the age of the car. In for updates, have been following your build for a while now. Why use the DW300(I'm curious as I bought the same one in a package deal with some other parts) I'm kinda in the same boat in the sense I got it with some other parts and it's just been sitting.
