ruggerheist
This is my build thread. All work is being done by Tommy and Marc at GearOne Performance in West Chester. I am the only factor holding this up. I will update as progress is made (as I pay) Car: 2008 DGM LGT Current Mods: 07 Spec B transmission Hotchkis F&R sways Whiteline end links Most bushings upgraded to PU Whiteline Roll Center BC BR coilovers Rotora 6 pot front 2 pot rear BBK Shitty Rota Grids 18x8.5 Planned: Element Tuning ProComp short block- Have VAC motorsports P&P 2.5 heads +1 mm valves- Have Brian Crower stage 3 280* cams- Have Rotated Cosworth Intake Manifold- Have IAG Billet Aluminum TGV deletes- Have Borg Warner EFR 8374 1.05 AR externally wastegated twin scroll turbo- Have Full Race Rotated Twinscroll kit- Have KillerB oil pick up & Baffle- Have Crawford A/O separator (Possibly Element Tuning dry sump) ID2000 injectors- Have Walboro 255 intank fuel pump- Have Radium fuel sump- Have Dual Bosch 044 external pumps- Have Aeromotive FPR- Have Agency Power fuel rails & lines- Have Koyo Radiator Hydra EMS Hydramist methanol injection system custom wiring harness AC delete- Done Undecided: FMIC Cooling fan(s) Thermostat The first issue we are running into is the ABS unit. Because of where it sits in its stock location, any intake solutions are impeded or an unreasonable amount of bends are needed. The most likely solution will be to clock it 90* and mount it on the left fender wall. With that, new brake lines need to be made along with a custom bracket for the module. Other issues we forsee: washer fluid resevior relocation, alternator relocation, hood clearance, intercooler piping. I guess this is where I say, "Stay tuned"

FknBoss
Marc did the tuning on our turbo ae86 drift car last year. He did a nice job. Still holding good.

ruggerheist
Sump and Bosch pumps are set. Feed and return lines need to be run once final motor assembly is done. Barring extraneous circumstances, were hoping next week motor will be assembled and brake lines will be fabricated.

ruggerheist
went to assemble the motor, come to find that ARP sent a wrong size washer with the head studs. Once assembled, buckets need to be verified and heads assembled.
LatentWagen
280s and a big honkin BW. This car should be a monster. What do you plan to spin it to? LW's spec. B / YT / IG

ruggerheist
What I should've said was, the pro comp w big valve heads and cams is tested and proven at 9k. We will probably set redline between 8-8.5k to be safe. But the turbos spool will have the final say.
ruggerheist
Here's an update: VAC fucked up the heads. After getting them back we realized first the cams weren't cleared and second the valves weren't lashed. Sent them back to VAC to get the cams cleared, then decided to send them down to Element Tuning. Valve stems were snipped to clear and found out exhaust valves were never seated correctly. Needless to say, the heads are truly done now and hopefully better than ever. GearOne is off next week to support their spec miata and BRZ so hopefully the motor will be fully assembled and ready to go in the week after. ruggerheist
Motor is in. Brake lines are being mocked up as well as fueling being finalized and run. A new bracket has to be fabbed for the abs relocation and a plate to mount the fuel sump and meth tank in the trunk.
