AZP Installs
Looks like they just drill out cheap chinese rotors for you. Pricing doesn't seem that outstanding, Centric Premiums are right in that ballpark and are fairly well tested. -Mike Paisan http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/153798190.jpg Maintaining, Modifying and Educating TriState Enthusiasts since 2001. AZP Installs
Yup, just like Fortune Auto are "assembled" in the US... Lots of marketing terms thrown around out there... -Mike Paisan http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/153798190.jpg Maintaining, Modifying and Educating TriState Enthusiasts since 2001. Max Capacity
So I asked the question, where are your rotor's made. This is the reply I got back. They answered in less than one hour. Our rotors are manufactured in the states, but sometimes we get them from Canada or Germany. What you should ask is what is the warranty? How good is the service? How long have you been around? Are you rated a+ with the bbb ? And do you machine them and plate them your selfs. The answer is we are a+ bbb, we machine our own and zinc our own rotors, we answer phones in English from 8:00am-6:00pm m-friday and 9:00am-3:00pm saturdays. We are in California and we have been around for over 12years. The performance rotors take a least 2-3 days before they ship. It is free shipping anywhere in the continental US and no tax outside of California. If you live in California we have to charge tax because we are in the same state. If you compare us to other companies you will find that there is no comparison. When checking companies please go on their site and see what people write about them. That will give you a good indication if it is a good company to deal with. Thank You, Brake Performance (866- 756- 5536) $147 for a pair of fronts looks pretty good to me. $153 for slotted. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. AZP Installs
Interesting. Still more than centric premiums iirc. Centric Premiums from KNS run $115 a pair they are made by Stoptech and are tried and true tested. Also do they own the foundry? If they don't own the foundry or have very good control over it, then it doesn't matter. It appears they buy them from manufacturers who have over runs or surplus possibly. As for slotted. Meh, waste of money IMO. Mike
DonnyJagaru
Agreed. Guessing their business comprised of a shipping door, couple of drill presses and milling machines and some fast talkers. Bad grammar on their website too.
