speeding_jaijin - You've got a PM.

Gohmer1 - I picked mine up for $9,800 with ~82,000 miles on the clock. I searched for this car for six months while I was deployed to the Persian Gulf. Finally, about two weeks from returning to the US, I find this cherry on NASIOC. My girlfriend, also being a NASIOC member, contacted the seller and explained our situation. She sent him a deposit, and he held the car for me until I got back. A week after my return, I flew from South Carolina to New Hampshire to pick her up. The rest is history. :)

IwannaSportSedan - I agree with you about the bumper and grille. Japan gets all the cool stuff! Eventually, I plan on getting a carbon fiber hood with a hood scoop, a different front bumper (something to the taste of S401,) and B4 tail lights. I had a great line on a set of B4 tail lights, but unfortunately, my seller dropped out on me.

As far as detailing, I just wash it and use Turtle Wax. :)

Honestly, my hood and bumper are going to need re-painted soon. The photos didn't really show how bad it is. I put a LOT of highway miles on the car, so the rock chips are inevitable.

Jonathan,

First of all, thank you for your service in the Armed Forces. It was a great story about how you found the car, and held until you came home.

A CF hood could be nice, and might as well paint parts of that, as have your stocker painted.

an S401 or previous Blitzen front bumper might make all the difference in the looks department. It seems like JDM cars have much larger grille openings, too. that probably requires a JDM-style hood and grille insert...

There was a copper-colored british-market legacy of the same bodystyle as yours on here the other day that had a nice and subtlely agressive front bumper, too.

A scooped hood will look good... but it is gonna beg you for a 2.0 or 2.5 Turbo to get an intercooler under it!!! The power might be nice, too...

Once you start modding.... good luck stopping! :D
