Sublimejoe
Some molding showed up today! Looks great and I was pleasantly surprised that it included all the clips I need: http://i.imgur.com/SZNwmYbh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Pu7aFzWh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/6EqQrYDh.jpg
Smithcraft
I guess it's popular to remove the chrome strip, to black out the moulding. I was thinking about removing it and replacing it with black engineers (reflective) tape. Sublimejoe
Nice not a bad idea! I am covering the chrome strip with some matte silver vinyl, the same as the Audi S4 has on the mirrors, if you're familiar
Cale
If you're keeping the chrome window strips def don't black out the door mouldings! I think you're making a great choice
Smithcraft
Not familiar with any Audi stuff. But after looking it up, I'd say - NO! LOL! SC 1994 Legacy MI 2008 Legacy GT specB 2023 Crosstrek Limited

Sublimejoe
Oh, gotcha For anyone wondering like I was. The surround on the left is for a five speed, the one on the right is for automatic: http://i.imgur.com/nCIZw81l.jpg The problem with using the five speed one on my car is that I would need to use the entire center console, which is LHD, and also has the weird spot for the automatic belts. I think I will just have my dude make a custom boot for the automatic one that came on the car.
derp
Looks like it's in better shape, too. I could suck start a snow blower.
Sublimejoe
Looks like it's in better shape, too. Yeah it definitely is. I also can't use only the manual surround because the whole console is slightly different and it won't bolt up to the rest of my original one. Sublimejoe
Finally got around to putting the manual pedals in today. It definitely is a pain in the ass to do without removing the steering column, but I think it would of been more of a pain in the ass to take it out. Brake pedal and gas pedal are connected. Need to run the clutch cable tomorrow. Ignore the mess: http://i.imgur.com/K8Daqsxh.jpg
Sublimejoe
Well, it looks like I'm an idiot and have been sitting on a hydraulic clutch pedal for over a year and didn't even realize it was wrong until I installed it. In dire need of a CABLE clutch pedal, RHD specific. Someone help please!
