Some molding showed up today! Looks great and I was pleasantly surprised that it included all the clips I need:

I guess it's popular to remove the chrome strip, to black out the moulding.

I was thinking about removing it and replacing it with black engineers (reflective) tape.

Put the car up on jackstands today:

Got some of the other shit out of the way in the bay. I need to figure out how to remove the rest of the lines for the A/C and find some proper size bolts for the windshield wiper motor:

Oh, gotcha ;)

For anyone wondering like I was. The surround on the left is for a five speed, the one on the right is for automatic:

The problem with using the five speed one on my car is that I would need to use the entire center console, which is LHD, and also has the weird spot for the automatic belts. I think I will just have my dude make a custom boot for the automatic one that came on the car.

Looks like it's in better shape, too.

Yeah it definitely is. I also can't use only the manual surround because the whole console is slightly different and it won't bolt up to the rest of my original one.

Finally got around to putting the manual pedals in today. It definitely is a pain in the ass to do without removing the steering column, but I think it would of been more of a pain in the ass to take it out.

Brake pedal and gas pedal are connected. Need to run the clutch cable tomorrow. Ignore the mess:

Well, it looks like I'm an idiot and have been sitting on a hydraulic clutch pedal for over a year and didn't even realize it was wrong until I installed it.

In dire need of a CABLE clutch pedal, RHD specific. Someone help please!

Mounted the tranny onto the bracket, and connected the shift linkage today:

Also, filed down the power folding mirror switch so it fit in the OEM spot:

Managed to get the windshield garnish off without breaking it! Cleaning it and prepping for fresh matte black:

Center console back in, pedals in. Need to clean the shit out of the interior still:

I have some interior dye to freshen up the window switch panel and the door handle surround. As well as some other small pieces.
