Busuto05
05 Leggy GT Ltd blah blah blah 160K I BROKE my 2 Rear Eibach Springs on our shitty maine roads this week! springs were 4 yrs old, wasn't horsing around, I don't do that stuff anyway. I was content with looks and set up with the Eibachs. I run stock rim and winter tire combo in winter, summer I have 18s w/235/40. Claim a warranty?, nah excuse to get another set up:lol: What I do: DD, commute 80/day, looking for looks (maybe 1.5 - 2 inch lower) during the summer time, you know lowered bling bling stuff. Winter I want to raise back up slighly etc. Eibachs gave me plenty fo winter Option 1: Simple HR Springs (Eibachs not avail any more) and decent shocks. Anyone with experience w HR springs Option 2: Coil overs to be used year round. 1) Do these suckers wear well during winter months, Corrosion/bad road etc? 2) You guys on snow country w/ coil overs what do you run? Any suggestions would be great. I'll fork out up to a $1000 ish:redface:
JmP6889928
Swift springs will give you about 1.5-2" lower on stock platform type struts. Do the Koni conversion to your stock struts and you'll have a good ride, lower stance, and adjustability. Maybe could look at something like this. You would have to research it but it can turn a standard strut platform into an adjustable height kind of "half" coilover. http://www.elephantracing.com/suspension/coilover/911coiloversleeve.htm
