  1. Long overdue to get this done, I usually keep an annual interval for it, but received my results from Blackstone. This along with a sound leak down test are giving me the green for my road tune. Now I just need to find time to install the new TMIC, injectors, and pump.
  2. I run Kirkland Signature 5W-30 these days. Hasn't failed me yet. *Knocks on wood*
  3. Looks like we went on the same adventure. I've only had experience with the Stromung and Nameless. I'll get the sound figured out one day
  4. Recently sold my NP 5" mufflers. Great sound, but overtime the drone got to me. I threw the stock mid/Y/mufflers back on. With the Cobb catted DP, there's a good rumble, but I may just have an exhaust shop cut out the resonator in the mid pipe.
  5. Installed this piece of art that JMP sent. I can't describe how beautiful the custom turbine is.
  6. This morning I ordered a new one as well as two vacuum hoses and the hose coming off the turbo coolant reservoir. All but the one coming from the reservoir were rock hard (that's what she said). Good call on the starter!
  7. Ordered some items to refresh a few lines/parts while the turbo is out: PCV valve (2d one in 134K mi) Group N pitch stop Bell housing inspection plug Turbo>down pipe hardware (snapped a bolt) OCVs (I was going to clean them, but snapped the receptacle while trying to remove one) I'm sure I'll add more stuff soon...any recommendations are welcome as well.
  8. First time pulling a turbo and it honestly was easier than pulling a jammer off a plane. Packing it up and shipping to JMP this morning to receive his custom rebuild/inconel upgrade. Now, time to jump into the FSM and find other things to replace while the car is down for Mx.
  9. Sent my Rev C Bilsteins to Poway, Cali for a rebuild and repair. Just received an email that they're moving facilities and won't be up and running for awhile. They thankfully recommended Power Shocks in Sonoma to have the struts serviced and spec'd to the wagon pinks.
  10. I was greeted with a dentist drill sound on my way home from work this morning. Checked for a vacuum leak, nothing out of sorts. I guess it's time to get JMP working on this rebuild. Yet, I still have a considerable wait until my number is called for my road/dyno tune.
  11. Yeah, screw those autos y'all. *Looks tearfully/proudly at 5EAT car* I was on the way to selling mine. 10 yrs of ownership as the original owner, I started to lust after other cars, so I brought it back to stock. I almost picked up Volvo S60 R design too. The Volvo fell through and figured I should have the GT's engine checked out so it would be ready to sell quickly. After 130K mi, it was perfectly healthy. So, I bought everything I needed to go stage 3. Like y'all mentioned, there just isn't a car that fills this car's spot without spending a significant amount of money. I couldn't let go of it and thus will ride it into the sunset or into the dirt. Whichever comes first.
  12. I'll buy your SPT when you find something
  13. On topic, what a PITA it is to remove springs from a strut. The last time I did this, ~8yrs ago, I at least had SBT there helping. Now to just wait for the Pinks to cross the ocean and endure this process once more.
  14. I bought some F/R sets of Pinks (GT Wagon spec) to replace the MSI springs on the Bilsteins...I thought I was done with this stuff.
  15. Bump. Wheels are currently having the surface scratches/rash corrected. I'll post pictures once all 5 are complete.
