Fuel door

Recommended Posts

Hey guys I'm new to the forums and having a subie I've been looking around and can't find a thread for fuel door release cable. When I got my car the fuel door wouldn't latch close come to find out the whole pin and cable to hold it is buried inside I dug it out but it's melted and broke so before I go buy a new one I was wondering if anyone could tell me how difficult it is to install a new fuel door release cable. Also any suggestions on why I'd only be getting 17.4mpg doesn't seem very good for a subaru. Just did my spark plugs but don't know why else it'd be getting so low. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/19/u4eze2as.jpg

So 17mpg is decent for our gen then. It just seems off from when I bought the car did a beach trip with it and didn't know I had a misfire in the cylinder and it did excellent mileage got it back n seems it did worse. But if it's not bad then I'll quit worrying so much bout it thanks for the input though

Average mpg is 22-24 for these cars.

if your getting 17 you must spend a lot of time at WOT.

get it checked out.

We recommend you get the car off the stock map. It has flaws in it.
