MrHellrais3R
deep pockets and someone who is very good at electrical. I've only seen it done a couple of times. I believe my friend is probably the only one in the country who has done it and properly eliminated all CEL's. It was still a PITA, and totally not worth it tbh IMO. Max Capacity
You'll find its not worth the effort or $$,$$$.$$ Buy a car with a manual in it. Or do the HEXMOD. See the tranny forum. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. discojon
I looked into this fairly extensively and made the determination that it's not worth it. In a nutshell you have to change front wiring harness, pedal box, fab up a transmission cross member, change steering column, drivers door lock, center console, instrument cluster, and many other bits and pieces. It's not as simple as dropping in a 5/6 mt and calling it a day. The mechanical pats are fairly straight forward but the electrical isn't worth it. Max Capacity
Don't forget, CC still doesn't work, as far as I know. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
