Pavoni8297 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 I picked up a used spt cbe and I am going to spend some time polishing it before spring up here.... should I do anything to condition the inside? just wondering... going to use nevrdull and bar keepers friend.

GEE-OTTO Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 I used Mothers and the power cone and ball on used Magnaflow once it worked great then I sprayed one one can of clear coat (Rustoleum) on it to seal it up ahead of the salt season. I would polish the cans and paint the y-pipe black to protect it better.

Have been hitting the area with a fine wire brush on a drill then the nevrdull.....really its the tips and can backs...... I must not be OCD with areas that aren't easily seen
