DOHCEJ22E1
I wouldn't suggest this. Unless the STi heads in question have small enough chambers, I would avoid this action entirely. Most EJ25 heads have chambers larger than the cylinder bores of the EJ22 block, so mating them will end up treading on super thin ice, especially if the chambers are "mushroomed". silentfox
ok so what would be the best way to get power out of my ej22?
Zues Marine
swapping motors completely will be most cost effective and less work in the long run
DOHCEJ22E1
ok so what would be the best way to get power out of my ej22? EJ25D heads 97-99 w/thinner gaskets would do the trick. Modified intake & ignition would have to follow immediately.. Or, as Zues Marine says, you'd have to swap your engine out for something more powerful, like an EJ25D. Zues Marine
I was hinting more toward a ej20... If you're looking for power, you won't find it staying N/A
