Yamba6
So yesterday I pulled the car in to do the RB mud flaps. Short story.... problems all around which has got me up to 2 1/2 hours and I don't have the backs on. Problem I have. I went to unscrew the rears on my 05 (stock muds) and the screw just spins free and never comes out. It was a hard twist at the beginning, thought just rust. Now this is the case on both top and bottom screw. YEAAA!!! So I finally get behind the bumper to see that the clip had completely broke besides the square nut holding the screw on with the old flaps. This screw is now rusted on and spinning freely when the screw is twisted. What in the hell can I use to grab ahold of this square nut that is now spinning on the inside of the bumper. Its a very tight spot and hard to fit anything on it like needle nose vise grips. has anyone had this happen before?
Holla
Sounds like the only option is to get something to hold it on the back side or cut it off. Sounds like the bolt is junk anyway so I'd grab a die grinder or dremel and carefully cut it off.

Yamba6
Yeah, I'm worried about zipping them off since its just plastic and a very tight spot that's not comfortable for my arms/hands. lol But didn't think about taking the grinder to it.
