1-3-2-4
Has anyone used anaerobic sealant on the oil pan? With the low temps here RTV would take a long time to cure.
Osei
I wouldn't. Anaerobic is great but too thin for this use IMO. You need something that will really fill gaps and prevent seepage past a joint that is not really torqued down. O.

GTTuner
The grey stuff, permatex ultra grey or Fuji bond. Permatex doesn't need to set, I've put pans up and filled the crankcase right away it it's fine.
1-3-2-4
Well regardless it's set now, lol I might have to push back one more week I forgot to order some powder coating powder.. I figure while prepping for a build (doing two things at once) I can strip the intake and clean it up.
FLlegacy
Harley Davidson hi performance sealant grey, same as what is called for in the factory service manual. It is pricey, but a tube goes a long way I used it a few times on different gaskets including the oil pan it is an awesome sealant. If you don't want to spend that much go with the permatex ultra series sealant.

1-3-2-4
That is true.. I hate searching for stuff on google and only come up to a thread that has no follow up post or no one ever helps the person.
