Dead91silvia
Thanks guys! It's been a lot of work, but it's been totally worth it. It's my daily for the last 4-5 months. I had to cut it because of a number of reasons. One, I was on a time crunch and the owners needed it gone. Two, it takes forever to get the correct EPA and DOT paper work, if ever. Three... that is extremely complicated to explain. Just know its a pain in the ass.
scoobydoo73
I think the short answer is when you cut it in two, you are not importing a vehicle, you are importing parts.

Dead91silvia
Sadly, the motor in the GT-B lost a bearing so she's on the disabled list for now, but I have another EJ20R about to go in. Just need the time. I just got my Toyota fixed from it getting totaled this summer so that was a project. Here's the truck if anyone cares to look. You guys might like it. 2WD w/ a 4x4 4Runner front end swap. http://www.sl-i.net/FORUM/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=25103 Before http://i1155.photobucket.com/albums/p548/dead91silvia/94%20Toyota%20wk%20truck/th_IMAG1060_zps25160173.jpg http://i1155.photobucket.com/albums/p548/dead91silvia/94%20Toyota%20wk%20truck/th_IMAG1061_zpsd7e8bb9a.jpg http://i1155.photobucket.com/albums/p548/dead91silvia/94%20Toyota%20wk%20truck/th_IMAG1062_zps9583e29f.jpg http://i1155.photobucket.com/albums/p548/dead91silvia/94%20Toyota%20wk%20truck/th_IMG_3437_zps9e0d445e.jpg After... Dead91silvia
I started to put together a new motor for the GT-B. It's going to be a hybrid EJ20H/EJ20R. The long block is an 20H, and all the bolts ons are 20R, like the injectors, TB, intake, turbos. So it will end up being a high compression setup now. This will be interesting.
